One key item in getting oriented to a new city is finding a legit pizza place. One of my residents tipped me off to Shorty's. A true hole in the wall pizza place with incredible brick oven pizza. They have make your own, which is what I do, or they have a list of pizzas named after famous people. For instance, the Snoop Dogg with salami, banana peppers, and feta chizzle. :) Here are some pictures of our late night date to Shorty's. (Brad just came off a serious all nighter for midterms so it made for a fun outing.) The Elvis picture is on real velvet and adds an upscale touch to the joint.
