Blankets for Disney World

I don't know if you girls have heard of Disney's "Give a Day, Get a Day", but they are doing a promotion this year that if you volunteer at one of their partnering organization, you get a free ticket to one of the Disney parks (you choose).  Well, a while ago, my parents told us that they were going to rent a house in Orlando cause they got a good deal on it and if we wanted to put up the money for a plane ticket, they would offer us a place to stay with them.  The trip is at the end of February and when we found out about Disney's offer, we decided to check it out.  Literally all I have to do is make one of those no-sew fleece tie blankets.  I've never made one before, but I had fun doing it and will probably do it again.  Once I drop this off at Project Linus, an organization that donates homemade blankets to terminally ill children, I will get a voucher for a free day at Disney World.  My ticket actually WILL be free, which reminds me of when Jacki and Darla were promised a free ticket to Disney World back in college...

Anyway, Elijah and I are flying down there 2 weeks from today! We can't wait.  We are going to go to Animal Kingdom because Kirk didn't want to miss Elijah's first trip to Magic Kingdom, which I totally understand.
Getting started...
Finishing up...I picked a super cute fabric.  It has a blue carriage stroller on it and says "This is how I roll" on it.  I did actually tear up as I thought about a terminally ill infant boy getting this blanket.  Thank you, Lord, for a healthy family.
