We had our Valentine's date last night (Brad's parents watched Max for us!) - we went to Olive Garden, and here's a shot of my leftover chicken alfredo pizza - it doesn't look great here, but it was!!! And then we went to go see the movie Valentine's Day - it was SO GOOD! I recommend you girls see it if you're in the mood for a fun romantic comedy. Oh, and the best part was that Topher Grace's character was from Muncie, Indiana! At one point in the movie he said, "Look, I'm from Muncie, Indiana..." and since we were at a Muncie theater, the entire place erupted in cheers! It was hilarious! But anyway, it was a very fun night, and we had gift cards for the dinner and movie from Christmas presents, so that made it even better :) And then we came back and watched some of the opening ceremonies of the Olympics!
And this was fun...Brad and I said we weren't going to get each other presents for Valentine's Day, to save money, but I decided to get him some wine and chocolate, and he got me the exact same thing! It was cute because he got home from work yesterday before I did, so he had it all nicely displayed, and I laughed and went and got his present and put it right next to his. Great minds think alike, I guess :)
And then I just have to share this one from yesterday - Max had woken up from his nap - he usually just babbles for a bit, and then I go in and get him. So when I opened the door to his room this is what I saw: blanket draped over his head, huge smile :)
