Happy Valentine's Day

Today was a really fun day. Brad gave me a gift certificate to get my nails done at THE cutest nail salon just down the street. I haven't done that since we got married so it will be a real treat. He also made reservations at a really nice restaurant called La Grotta, but we looked at the menu online and it was way too pricey.
So we improvised. We went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens which is located in Piedmont Park, kinda like a Central Park of Atlanta. Although the outside is kinda desolate looking right now they have incredible greenhouses. One exhibit was their orchid exhibit. Sheesh was it pretty and smelled just like Hawaii. It was fun to get outside and walk around.



After that we went to a trendy little Cafe downtown.


They serve food, but we decided to just get dessert and cafe drinks. I had the best hot chocolate ever with a slice of ebony and ivory cheesecake - divine!


and Brad had what else - espresso and coffee with a slice of berry bosco.





I put a picture here of their dessert display. They actually have tour guides to explain what each thing is. It was a fun day indeed. We are all blessed with incredible people that love us dearly.
